You can open existing projects and resume working on them. You can open existing .projects from the Getting Started window or from the work space. You can also open an existing file you currently share with someone else.
If you have recently worked on the existing project, you can open it directly from the Getting Started window. Recent projects are listed on the right of the Getting Started window.
Follow these steps to resume working on an existing project:
Do one of the following:
If you have not started the Publisher, click Open an Existing Project from the Tasks list.
If the work space is displayed, either select Open Existing Project from the File menu or type Ctrl + O.

In the Open Recent list, projects that you have marked as private contain the Private graphic and projects that you are sharing contain the Shared
graphic. For details about marking projects as private or shared, see Working with shared projects.
You can also click Browse All to pick from projects in a folder and file list. To open a project that you recently used in the Publisher, select the name of the project in the Recently Used Projects box under the folder and file list and click OK. The last 10 projects that you have opened using the program are listed. You can also navigate the folder list and select a project to open. To open a project locate the project by browsing the My Projects and Shared Projects folders. Projects in the My Projects folders are the projects that you do not currently share. Projects in the Shared Projects folders are the projects that you share with other people. Select the project and click OK to open the project.
Your project is displayed in Edit mode and you can begin adding objects to complete its functionality.
