Viewing more templates to start project

Along with the six popular Inspired Learning templates, you can also select from hundreds of pre-designed templates developed and shared by ELB Learning. Additionally, you can start a project from your own custom templates or from a theme. You can create a custom template by saving a project as a template or altering an existing template. A theme is a set of design elements that together provide a look to project. Themes include background graphics and standard navigation buttons.

To start a project using one of your own custom templates:

1. Click More Templates from the Getting Started window. The Publisher launches and the File ribbon is opened to the Create New Project menu item.

2. Click My Templates.

3. Click Import to navigate and select the custom template.

The custom template you selected is used to start the new project.

To start a project using a shared template from the Internet:

1. Click More Templates from the Getting Started window. The Publisher launches and the File ribbon is opened to the Create New Project menu item.

2. Click Templates Online. The templates folders are displayed on the right side of the window.

3. Use the Search field or open the available template folders to navigate and select a shared template.

4. Click Create from Template.

The template you selected is used to start the new project.

To start a project using a theme:

1. Click More Templates from the Getting Started window. The Publisher launches and the File ribbon is opened to the Create New Project menu item.

2. Click Themes.The gallery of available thumbnail themes is displayed on the right-side of the window.

3. Select the size of your content as one of the following:

   • Size for PCs and tablets (1024 x 768)

   • Size for high-resolution wide-screen monitors (1280 x 800)

   • Size for smartphones (320x640)

   • Size for all devices; Responsive Project

4. Select the appropriate thumbnail and click Create from Theme. Alternatively, you can select a theme by double-clicking it.

5. The new theme-based project is opened in the workspace. Edit the project as necessary.

The theme you selected is used to start the new project.
