Saving a project as a template

You can create a template based on the framework and related assets of the current project. The template you create can be shared online.

You can specify the location where to save the template. You can also import and export templates for use in creating projects.

To save the current project as a template:

  1. Open the File ribbon.

  2. Click Save Options and select Save Project As Template. The Save Project As a Template window opens.

  3. In the Save Project As a Template window, provide the name of the new template, its location, and a description.

  4. Click OK.

The new template is created and added to the list of available templates.
