Exporting the text of a project for Word

You can export the text of a project to use in Word. The text of projects exported for Word are packaged and saved as .doc files.

Enable Download Notifications: In certain cases, your browser's security settings can be preventing file downloads without notifying you that a download is being attempted. Check your browser's security settings to enable automatic prompting for file downloads.

To export the text of the project for Word:

Open the project in the Publisher.
Click Export on the File tab and select Word.

The Export text to Word window opens.
Click OK.
Navigate to the appropriate locations and use the File name field to specify the name of the .doc file.
Click Save.

The text is saved in the .doc file.
