Creating a background for your entire project

You can use the Background Wizard to create a background for project. The background will be applied to project properties. You can select to change the background

To create a background for your entire project:

  1. Select the project in the Project Explorer.

  2. From the Design ribbon, click Background Wizard from the Project Styles & Background group. The Background Type window opens.

  3. If the scope of the background change window opens, select All pages in the project. This occurs if you do not have the project selected in the Project Explorer.

  4. Select the type of background you want to add to project and click the Next button. Choose from the following types of backgrounds:

    Select this to choose from three categories of backgrounds: HighTech, Natural, and Textiles.

    Gradient

    Select this to add a colored gradient background to project. You can configure the starting color, ending color, the direction of the gradient and the percentage of the background the gradient should cover.

    Beveled Border

    Select this to create a background with a 3-dimensional, raised border. You can configure the border color, page color, placement of the border and the border size.

    Shaded Border

    Select this to create a background with a shaded border. You can configure the border color, page color, placement of the border and the border size.

    Solid Border

    Select this to create a background with a solid border. You can configure the border color, page color, placement of the border and the border size.

    Solid Color

    Select this to create a solid color for your background.

  6. Click the Next button to configure the background properties and click Finish to apply the background to project.

The background is applied to project.
