When you have the ability to select a color, whether it be for a background, text, or link color, an eyedropper tool is available in the color list. The eyedropper tool will enable you to select an existing color on the current page in project.
To use the eyedropper tool:
Select the eyedropper tool from the color list. Your mouse cursor will display the eyedropper.
Move your mouse to place the eyedropper tool over the color in project that you want to use.

When the eyedropper is on top of the color you want to use, click your left mouse button. The new color will be selected within the Color list.
