Adding streaming audio

Streaming audio is audio that is played back as it is downloaded. To stream audio in a project, you must specify the Web address of the audio stream. You can preview the audio stream before adding it to the project.

To add an audio stream:

1. In the Project Explorer, select the location in which you want to add the audio.

2. On the Insert ribbon, click the arrow under Audio from the Add Media group and select Streaming Audio. The Add Streaming Audio window opens.

3. Use the Audio Type field to select the appropriate type of audio stream and use the URL field to specify the Web address of the audio stream.

4. Click Preview to preview the audio stream.

5. Click OK.

The audio stream is added to the project.
