Objects and actions that do not work with the keyboard
According to WCAG 2.0 2.1.1 Keyboard, “All functionality of the content is operable through a keyboard interface without requiring specific timings for individual keystrokes, except where the underlying function requires input that depends on the path of the user's movement and not just the endpoints.”
Keep in mind that not all objects and actions in Lectora result in accessible content that support the use of a keyboard. Although the majority do, certain objects cannot receive keyboard focus, and certain actions cannot be executed with use of a keyboard. As you design and develop content, you will need to be cognizant of the non-accessible items in the list below:
Objects:
Questions:
- Matching
- Drag and Drop
- Hot Spot
Action Triggers:
- Mouse Enter
- Mouse Exit
- Mouse Double Click
- Right Mouse Click
- Screen Swipe Left or Right
