Managing resources

The Resource Manager gives you access to all of the resources used in your title, and all of the information for those resources. Resources in the Publisher are the actual files that are used for objects such as images, audio and video. The name of the file that the resource represents can be changed, the resource can be edited, and the Resource Manager window lists all instances of the resource in the title.

To access the Resource Manager, click the Resources graphic on the Tools ribbon.

Within the Resource Manager window, you can complete the following:

• Search for a resource

• View a resource's usage

• Change the name of a resource file

• Create a unique resource

• Edit a resource

• Delete a resource

• Converting audio and video
