Prompting for the student's name

You can require that students taking the test must submit their name to identify the test. If enabled, users are prompted at the beginning of the test to enter their name. The user's name is submitted with the test results data.

When running on a LMS, enabling prompting for the student's name is not necessary. The LMS will identify the user.

To enable prompting for the student's name:

1. In the Title Explorer, double-click the graphic of the test. Alternatively, you can right-click the test in the Title Explorer and select Properties.

2. On the Results ribbon, enable the Prompt for Student's Name check box in the Student Settings group.
